Slide show

In my never-ending quest to improve my blog, I’ve discovered a new feature in WordPress.com! Yes, if you look below, you will see … Ta da! A slide show!

I’m not sure why, but I have a lot of pics that I have saved from the Internet. For some strange reason, I saved a lot of pics with computers in them. What exactly does that say about me? Hmm. I wonder. So if you look below you will see some of my favorite PC pics. I took the liberty of adding my own captions.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I hope to occasionally use this feature in my blog in the future!

  1. The other difference I noticed from the version you used before are the related links. I guess they are based on the keywords you select. I wonder if get any pennies per click on those related links. I found them irrelevant the first time I tried them, so I don’t even refer to them any more.

    1. Vito,

I’m glad I switched to this version on WordPress.com. When I had the previous version on my own website, I had to download the software from WordPress and then install it on my site. I would never get any of the upgrades until they came out with a new version. And then I would have to save my blog, and upload the new upgrade. And it didn’t always work the first time.

The other advantage of being on WordPress.com is that they stop almost all of the spam. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m sure having the automatic upgrades helps a lot. My previous blog was constantly hacked.

While my blog was out of commission, I tried a few other blogs, but I like WordPress.com the best. It seems like they come out with a new feature every week.

I’m not so sure about those automatically generated links. Sometimes they not related in any way whatsover. But that’s just a minor problem compared to the problems I was having with my own independent blog!
